Music o' The Entry: "Kokoro", Xenosaga
Yeah, you read that right, from Xenosaga; grab your own of this, plus the c/w "Pain", and the gorgeous instrumental version of "Kokoro"...heck, just download, listen, then proceed to order the single; that's what I'd be doing, if it wasn't that I need to pay for my gold edition of the Majestic Mix disc (now available to preorder from AnimeNation! Sorry, had to get a plug in somewhere for these guys. The PMM ones, I mean.)...oh well, I likely will eventually, and if not I'm doubtlessly purchasing the full Xenosaga OST anyways. Everything I've listened to non-vocal-wise off the OST is freaking orgasmic: this would include the very vaguely Carmina Burana-esque "The Miracle" and the highly chantish "Ormus"; both are excellent pieces that make me wet myself in anticipation for this soundtrack and reaffirms my faith in Mr. Mitsuda's nigh god-like game music composition abilities. But those aren't the pieces I want to talk about, I want to talk about "Kokoro", seeing as it IS the vocal theme to the game, and we all know Sho has a bit of a fondness for ending game vocals (I think my ownership of Square Vocal Collections would tend to affirm that), hence my speaking of it. Actually, speaking will ensue later, have a bit of stuff to do for the moment...
