Got some fine news all ye, the sun seems to be finally breaking through the clouds: the rough version (meaning all that's left is heaps of revision, editing, and possible shrinking) of my Tolkien term paper, which finally clocked in at about 21 pages (I decided to add in the Orcs in addition to Men, Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, and Ents). Yes, I know there are more folk than that, technically, but I didn't include them because I'm basing my info off of the text of TLotR; not any of that Silmarillion or Histories of Middle-earth whatnot, because things are complicated enough without them, thank you very much. In addition to this, my finals are looking nice and scrawny, the way finals should appear: I turn in my term paper for English, I won't have one at all in geography, and the one actual final is for Japanese, yeehaw, after which I complete my minor. So as of 10:01 on June 13th, I'm officially done with school and should be receiving my high school diploma after grades are released (seeing as I didn't get one at graduation due to certain classes at college being requirements for grad. at the high school and having not finished them, yadda yadda yadda).
Don't have much time to type, but in a final bit of news I finally got a job, at a place called Zip's. It's a traditional fast food joint (as in the food hasn't changed much from the 50's), so it's incredibly greasy, but I only have to work there, not it...so that's sorta good, at least I'm guaranteed to move out of the house by the end of the summer. But anyways, got school in a couple hours, need to go shower. More this weekend!
