Music o' the Entry: "Pitiful Soshie", Turn A Gundam
The beast, it lives. Actually, I'm at home skipping math because Ye Olde Vile Menstrual Cramp decided to visit so I opted to get medicine instead of suffer work without medication. Yay. Actually, that last sentenced contained pretty much all of my life, A) Math B) Work C) Class. Oh, and D) Final Fantasy I. Not that it matters, my math teacher qualifies as the worst instructor I've ever had in my entire schooling and going is about the same as not, other than turning in assignments. YARG. So, yeah. Last entry was a bloody long time ago, right when I was in the midst of moving, so now I've been living away from home for a dandy little while, and enjoying it, for the most part. There are a number of things I miss quite a bit, such as my cats and my piano and that the town I now live in is a shithole, but otherwise, it's alright.
So yeah...life is interesting. I suppose I should talk about my apartment. It's not one of those towering operations, but more like a long building, with compartments on the front and rear. It's mildly old school, with the kitchen things being from the 1950's, (which 0wNz me), walls in the living room painted a delicate seafoam, and burgundy carpet that shows every freaking speck of dust. But other than that, it's keen. Typical college apartment, tiny as can be, but it works and it beats down dorms with sticks daily. Only know one of my neighbors, Matt's friend who makes excellent excellent Long Island Iced Tea and who is convinced that it's her sacred duty to inebriate me (even though alcohol makes me sick recently, but then again so does everything else. Except pizza.). ... ... not much to say, I guess. This always happens when I take such a long break between entries, don't know where to start. However, I always ramble on about music, so one supposes that's as good a starting place as any.
I have a new song I'm obsessed with, that disturbs me in the slightest: "Lose Yourself". By Eminem. EMINEM, PEOPLE. Sure, everyone and their dog might like him, but he's never been my bag, particularly in regards to lyrics and homosexual folk. Anyway, at work (the Dining Services of my school, yeehaw) the radio is always on, so I'm exposed to a great deal more "popular" music than is my choice and heard this song, with relative frequency. However, they never stated the artist, so I didn't know...oops, need to run to work. Expect more later!
