Music o' The Entry: "Dreaming of the Shore of Another World", Chrono Cross OST

Shame on me, I forgot precisely how much this OST owns, and am reminded that Nathan SHALL be called as for me to reacquire my possessions. Oh, and to see if he's still alive and all that rot as well. Aren't I nice? Indeed, I know I've said it before, but this is one of my most highly recommended game soundtracks to listen to, Yasunori Mitsuda is the patron saint of game music. Blimey, I REALLY need to play through Chrono Cross again, the game has a lovely atmosphere, though I'm not sure whether I prefer it over ChronoTrigger's. Hmmm. Speaking of game music, the thing to currently grace the CD player is Matt's copy of the insanely awesome Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack. As I've mentioned before, I did own this OST at one period in time before I sold it to a friend mostly because I was afraid he'd start foaming and convulsing if I didn't, and I now I'm wishing I hadn't. I mean REALLY wishing I hadn't, it's incredible, as well as being one of the most pleasurable soundtracks just to listen through; there are no tracks that I actively hate, which y'all know is quite the rarity with myself.

Ah well, enough about music (for now, give me another five minutes and I'm sure I'll be babbling nonstop once again), all apologies for not writing. Actually, I'm quite surprised I am now, as I quite frankly do not know how I'm functioning. You see, today was my midterm day, all of them in one day. Don't you just love it when they stack up like that? However, Sho got home much later than she intended last night, called Matt to study and did so for an hour and half before babbling about the paranormal and holes leading to Hell in Ellensburg for another hour and a half (as well as the pyramids, Nabiru, the Philadelphia Experiment, nephilim, and Sumer). Got off the phone around 10, went to sleep, woke up around 1 and I've been awake ever since, spending the night feverishly studying astronomy while ignoring my looming Japanese mid-term. Anyways, survived driving to school thanks to the wonder that is coffee, sort of survived Japanese mid-term (though I was distressed by the one listening question because sensei was asking something about "kimasu"ing and I would've felt a hell of lot more comfortable had I been able to see some kanji), made it through English, and then came astronomy, big-arse scary test of doom I had destroyed all semblence of sanity and normal physical feelings for...had been cancelled. Needless to say, I did the only thing that seemed appropriate at the time-I began to laugh. Got a few nutty looks, and Matt just patted me because he had got to have the dubious pleasure of my semi-conscious company all morning. No, Sho was not a happy camper, but at least I don't have to study nearly so hard for Thursday, and we did have the planeterium test and did well on it...so yeah, I'm sub-comatose over here, just needing to polish up my English presentation on the social paradigm of the American party system (particularly in regards to third parties, it being a pet peeve of mine. But I swear I won't turn this one into a Marxist sermon, despite how I may be tempted.), call Nathan, shower, and proceed to sleep the sleep of the dead. Yarg.

Oh, have a brief announcement to all who care (and you should. Not sure why, but you still should): today is Mardi Gras, and because I suck hairy goat balls (or gyoat balls even, if you happen to be Matt), the presence of a king cake is not currently gracing my kitchen: buu. Just no good, you know? If I wasn't so bloody sleepy...ah well, I figgered it had been long enough since I wrote last, a week if memory serves me right. So yeah, it's my favourite holiday, ex-boyfriend's 18th birthday, and if I was in Louisiana right now I'd be partying. However, I am distinctly NOT in Louisiana, and hence am not. Ah well, I'll make the king cake later and perhaps over the weekend engage in the consumption of it and sangria, as I love it so well. So yeah, happy Mardi Gras to the masses from your local Louisianan Sho (and just how many of those are there? Yes, feel special.).

Saw something quite strange today while Matt and I were driving about, this cream coloured car that was normal in all aspects save that there were in excess of a hundred grey and olive plastic army men glued to the hood, back, and front of the vehicle in various arrangement. For some reason, this harkened back memories of Vera's character Jethro and encounter with that one creepy guy who I'd really like to see a photograph of. The car was quite odd, despite the presence of many plastic army men the vehicle was not dripping in patriotic paraphernelia, as one might expect. Strange things boys and girls, strange things.

Other strange things of note include visiting the Special Collections area of my university, which is in fact quite creepy (they held onto my driver's licence while I went an made copies of a voting pamphlet. Uh, okay?) as well as reportedly having black blobs of dark matter emanate from my shoulder. Yes, always nice to know you're radiating dark evil energy. Anyways, have stuff to do, hope to write more soon. Mata~
