Another brief update for all: Final Fantasy X is not, contrare to popular belief, the reason for my current absence. No, something far more insidious and pressing is hanging over my head: it's the last week of school. Not finals week, the week before finals week, when everything and its dog conspires against you in a valiant effort for you NOT to finish everything you need to. Currently, that's taking the form right now of a Japanese journal entry I need to write, a Japanese presentation on cooking biscuits or whatever tomorrow (of which I haven't exactly nailed down the topic quite yet), and the biggie: my colossal, huge, scary term paper on race and culture in The Lord of the Rings. Yes, its probably as daunting as it sounds and more. The professor's recommended average page length was 10; I'm at 11 and have completed approximately 1/6 of the paper. Holy crap. So yeah, I'm busy and will HOPEFULLY finish this thing before the due date (June 10th). No, I'm not going for longevity, the thing will done when I'm good and ready for it to be (which will hopefully be less than 30 pages). So anyway, wish me luck, much more work still in store~
