Music o' the Entry: "All Dead", L'Arc~en~Ciel
Not so much to write tonight, Eer-busy, thanks to the evil English term paper that I can't write until I finish the mind-numbingly boring Appendices to the Lord of the Ring (I DID finish the book, though, and that will be addressed in another entry or whenever), paper on Iraq I need to get written for Tuesday, plus the fact there will be much high school graduationishness occurring tomorrow eve, my own in fact. In honour of my said graduation, and just because y'all have missed it so, I've prepared a little page featuring my senior pictures (fret not, there's only four); heck, y'all get a relatively decent play-by-play of my life in general, so I figured why not show you what all the folks invited to my gradumaration got in there letters. It's a wonder they're sending me congratulatory cards and money; yeah, I think I'm getting the better end of the deal, personally. But anyway, if you care to see those (plus my never-ceasing always-witty commentary), they're located here; knock y'all'sselves out (and I have no CLUE what's up with that psycho conjugation I just performed; I don't even think that's English).
Amid all the academia-related chaos that's sprawled about me, there's a couple good things. A) Had job interview today, if I pass a test with an 100% (I have to memorize stuff. That's pretty much what I do with everything anyway.) then there is job (and with it money, independent living, assorted glee, etc) for me. It's at a place I've heard nothing but awfulness from, and I apparently unwittingly intellectually threatened the manager ("So you're smart!" "Uh...::mumbles something intelligable::..."Well, I hope we're smart enough for you." "Uh...."...yeah. NO ES BUENO. FUKAI DESU YO.), which is always nice and embarrassing because I think the entire event it occurring at all is more than slightly ridiculous...but yeah, it's a traditional fast-food place, which I associate with many forms of Evil, but there is no money, and it's necessary, so...oh well, it shan't be forever. I hope (yay degree?). So that was pleasing, I shall get job and annoying job hunt that has plagued my existence so shall surely end, hail Cthulhu. And B) It looks highly likely that I shall be receiving a PlayStation 2 as my graduation gift, and possibly with it Final Fantasy X and a memory card. Not sure about the game, but that doesn't really matter because I enough cash to buy it anyway, but it would be a highly pleasing occurrence if I received both, oh yes. My mother's been rather vague on it, but my father's been pretty transparent so ye all shall surely know by Friday at least if I have one or not. Indeed, blogging shall doubtful tomorrow, as nearly the entire day is packed with crap and I still have school Friday.

Oh, in other news, I've quasi-officially began my more-than-likely-ill-fated plunge into studying Czech, the most awful language ever. Seriously, the pronunciations and strings of 5-6 consonants will make kanji look like a bloody cakewalk; at least Japanese doesn't try to tie your tongue in knots and tighten them. Still, it's going, and I'm determined to get through my ancient Czech for English Speaking Students or whatever it's called book, for the sole reason that I can talk to my grandmother. It's weird, I previously didn't think she had an accent to her English but after toying around with Czech for a bit she does. Still, my grandfather's Polish one is more prominent so perhaps that's why I don't notice it so.
After just a little bit of thought and trepidation, I finally did something that was long and coming: my website, which is technically associated with this blog, is now no more. Well, sort of. It's more of a much-pruned reincarnation, with one major difference: the site itself is based on this blog, and is now titled The Bloodwing Nexus, seeing as this is the bloodwing blog and whatnot. So not much difference to most, but this year would've been my awful site's four-year anniversary (though only regularly updated for two, after I came back from Japan the first time it all went to hell), so I'm a little nostalgic. Just a little though.
This is the saddest thing. Seriously people...because some of the stuff reminds me of my father, in my parents speaking to me of religion ("Don't teach your brother any of the communist stuff!")...at least being bi I can pretend to be straight, and generally speaking come off as such unless I'm careless. Sorta have to be, with homophobic family about and such. Still, it's getting harder and harder to hide it, and I don't want this reaction, ostracization...dammit, if you're going to ostracize me, at least find a decent reason, not something that doesn't even deserve such a label.
But anyways, I've papers to write, so wish me luck as to not fall down tomorrow. Mata!
